Anybody know the cost of getting it done from Clear Plex UK?Looks amazing. I’m wondering how many organs to sell…?
Well on looking at Clear plex website i was surprised to see it could be done here in Stirling so phoned the guy and was informed they no longer do it.Anybody know the cost of getting it done from Clear Plex UK?
Just to get back on this, the 4200 is too new and thus not covered yet in Pilkington's Classic range. This implies no direct sales, and you need to go through an official installer. Tried one of those in Belgium and the offer they made, was plainly ridiculous. (and 60 percent more than the offer they'd made me last September!)I spoke with Pilkington a couple years back with respect the rear glasses. They have a 3200 (rear) pattern, apparently. They were pretty helpful and responsive via email. Quite technical in terms of dimensions and what they require, as you’d expect.
I can’t believe these screens are nla. There’s a lot of these cars still in use. I know I worry about it. After decades of never damaging a screen, I’ve had to replace a piece of glass every 15 months for the last 5-6 years.
I wonder how many it’d take to satisfy a limited run…? If the 3200 is the same, except for an aerial or whatever, which I’m certain they can easily incorporate, it’d be well worth an email…!
Good luck.
We are all in this together! Thanks, brother...i just want to get you back on the road as soon as possible!Just to get back on this, the 4200 is too new and thus not covered yet in Pilkington's Classic range. Looking into other avenues and possibilities as we speak.
Also would like to bring an honorable mention for @DLax69 for being incredibly supportive and trying to help source one from the us. Many beers were added to the amount I already owe you sir!
