Some more info....

"16 or more at a time, I can do 8.25 each. Some people like to think there is a bunch of markup, but that's not the case. I would love to have your business and I think you will be very happy with the service. I keep my inventory of Denso low, most people buy 4 - 12 at a time. It takes me 2 business days to get plugs and if you let me know what you use a lot of, I can increase my inventory.
Dave"

Another line....

"Unless you really enjoy paying a lot of "duties", I have found 16 is the perfect number to ship at one time"

Looking a bit better....thoughts guys?

Will do a little bit more research guys......watch this space........................

So according to HMCR....

"All other goods

If you order or send purchased goods other than alcohol, tobacco, perfume and toilet water from a country outside the EU then you:

* don't have to pay Excise Duty
* may have to pay Customs Duty on goods with a value that exceeds £120
* will have to pay Import VAT on goods with a value that exceeds £18

Note that on all goods from outside the EU, Customs Duty is waived if the amount of duty calculated is £7 or unde
r."

But, according to their page theres 3or 4 things to take into account.........will contact them.....

"Excise and Customs Helpline

For excise duties and customs telephone enquiries

Opening hours
8.00 am to 8.00 pm Monday to Friday
Closed weekends and bank holidays

0845 010 9000 "

Ok....had a chat with my friendly Custom and excise person....

Basically, items imported by mail from the USA up to a value of £135 are not subject to customs duty but are subject to import VAT @ 17.5%

So.......this means for 16 plugs at a slightly reduced rate of $8.25 = $132, plus postage at $17.50 incl insurance = $149.50( £99.50), plus VAT on that total sterling equivalent = ($175) £ 116.90...so a set of 8 = £ 58.45 at current exchange rates.

Worth doing guys..?..let me know!
