Longtube manifolds for GranTurismo (and QPV)

Mischa, forgive me for asking the obvious, but why didn't you try Wayne Schofield at Chipswizzards? This man has probably forgotten more about Bosch Motronic ECUs than Bosch ever knew about themselves... The other interesting thing is that the US GT4 race cars, which run standard engines, but Tubi style long headers, 200 cell cats and GT4 exhausts consistently dyno in low 500s... So the power is definitely there...

Cheburator, to be honest, Matt@Sports Italia fitted the Manifolds, and they didnt originally fit and had to be modified. Then when the power was down, he just said, take them off. Not being mechanically minded or proficient in the finer aspects I didnt bother to progress any further--knowing what you have mentioned would probably been my salvation, but AV were not interested. Wayne has worked on my old 993RS but I know he is difficult to get hold of as he is so in demand!

Wayne has actually arrived in the 21st century! Believe it or not he has a calendar on his website and now can be properly booked/pre-paid in advance. So no more desperate voicemails left on his answerphone and asking friends with workshops to get hold of him so he can schedule a session to map my cars.

There is also now a chinese copy of the Tubi headers which apparently fits well and are around the £2.5k mark... Once modding starts, how far does one want to go. Next stop could be building a GT4 replica on the basis of a high mileage unloved *******...
