Lots of us love a V12 Aston Martin.....

My new Vantage V8S specified exactly as I wanted it to a high spec almost 10 years ago came in at £94K on the road. Not sure how that equates in real terms today? And it had proper knobs and buttons and good **** like that.

Ridiculous really. How modern technology has helped us. Not.

    Jump starter packs

Actually GB50 was top of the range when I got it. I would think GB50 or GB70 would be fine.

    Jump starter packs

Well worth having. I often use it at car shows to help others out as well. I have the top of the orange NOCO to cope with the V12 should it ever be needed. Not let me down yet.

Gransports and MC Victory on AT

Bianco Fuji GS back on sale

Have you seen Fuji in the flesh? It can be stunning but does not wear well it seems and as Zep suggests is a bugger to match. As the car is close to you then you can judge for yourself of course. Silver is often overlooked as a colour but is surprisingly rare on the GS and GT and shows the...

Oil and fuel. Thoughts and opinions

I have convinced myself I get better fuel economy with V-Power or Esso Premium and I hate Ethanol so the extra cost is justified in my opinion. Seems a small price to pay to be sure. On oil, I only use trusted garages and trust them to make the right judgement call on which oil to use.

    MOT shame.

MOT on one of mine last week revealed 19 miles travelled. The MOT station is 9 miles away. Even for me that is terrible.

I grew up wanting a Batmobile but....

Thank you. It is indeed another car that won't be made again. Get them whilst you can.

I grew up wanting a Batmobile but....

Yes I have placed it with Williams as it is a specialist car and I think requires a specialist dealer. They are very good to deal with and one of the few dealers I recommend. Your mis-fuel story does not surprise me. They have stopped the Lotus franchise as it was becoming more onerous to be a...

    Hideous BMW

I still say an E46 Alpina B3S is the better every day car even if missing some of the drama of the M3, it is as fast or faster point to point and way more practical and more nicely finished if spec'ed right. How they got the suspension to handle that well and ride as nicely as it does many a...

I grew up wanting a Batmobile but....

It is Andy in every way. Sadly also up for sale, I need to consolidate down to around 5 or 6 cars rather than 12 purely because it is becoming a full-time job to service them properly and use them enough. Some difficult decisions in a difficult market. But there is no rush and all the cars are...

Daily Maserati 3200/4200/GS Picture Thread - Have you driven your beauty? Post a pic :-)

Yesterday morning, over to my detailers for a quick going over of the MC-V and for a booked sales viewing on their scissor lift. Prospective buyer viewer doesn't show - no call, no email, no text and zero communication since. Fecking time wasters doing my head in. I should be used to it by now...

    Hideous BMW

I am going to agree with most of this. 1970s through mid 1990s Audi made the best cars (certainly in terms of quality, we can argue nuances of handling etc.) From 1995 to 2005 BMW took the crown, every model hit the mark and was class-leading and peak BMW as it turned out. If they were able to...
