Disconnect the 1&R unit and try again assuming battery is all tight. Is it floppy or springs correctly and you have to still lift to get reverse? Brake lights on constantly or do they work as should?

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories) on MOT - Central Front Oil leak

What I would do first is go buy 5 cans of brake and clutch cleaner from Euro Car Parts. Jack the front up and take the small rectangle undertray off. Spray the engine and heads down thoroughly then after 500 miles look again. It will be from one of the following: 1. Cam covers, look to see...

Alternator failure, replacement and fix options

Thanks, it was a pleasure to help out. Your supplied alternator does seem to work well. A little modification to one of the bushes but that was minor.

The kit is the way forward, just make sure you don't over torque them, there should be a guide on here somewhere to do it. Getting the oil level spot on is imperative.

C1022 Acceleration Sensor LH Front Wheel

From the drawing 2 is non Skhook and 3 is skyhook. The easiest way to check is open the bonnet, remove the cover and look for a wire coming out the centre of the shock. If you have this, you have skyhook so item 3, of not, then it’s 2 (which are handed as sat in the drivers seat)
