GT S MC Shift coming up on collectingcars. Looks like it's had a bit of a life to me with 69k on the clock and overdue for service with last being done in 2021. And are those red decals standard(?) MOT history not too bad ... https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2012-maserati-granturismo-s-mc-shift
Changed my filter this afternoon. I depressurised both fuel rails with the relief valves (2). I was surprised at how much fuel came out. Certainly worth having a very absorbent rag to hand! Found the fuel filter on the RH side of the boot. There are a couple of plastic studs either side of the...
Annual oil and filter change on my 3200 and - whilst I was at it - changed the air filters and fuel filter too as they hadn't been done for a while. The oil (Selina Racing 10w60) was black after only a year / 4K miles. I put Shell Helix Ultra Racing 10w60 in. Had great difficulty undoing the...
Just reading this old thread for advice as I'm about to replace my fuel filter. What is the best way to depressurise the fuel system before removing the filter? Do you just crack open one or both inlet couplings (3 on the diagram) on the fuel manifolds? And I guess it's a good idea to have a rag...
Be interesting to see how this limited edition Alpine A100 Tour de Corse does on Collecting Cars. Apparently there are only 5 RHD cars in the country so it's quite a rare thing. Not sure if the roof and bonnet are just painted black or in carbon like the R ... If I bought it I'd have to call it...
New front tyres fitted to my 3200 this morning to match the rears, so I have Goodyear Eagles all round now! They were recommended on here by @conaero and they've made a welcome difference. The Continental Contacts that they've replaced - which were recommended by McGrath - seemed to have much...
Is that the Renault 14? My Dad had 2 of those, one in white and then another in Metallica gold. A good car, certainly one up on his previous Austin 1300. My first driving lesson was in a Renault 14!
Sounds like a problem with the immobiliser aerial to me going intermittent and then failing. I'd have a look at that first; check the connector on it etc. It fits around the ignition switch and picks up the transponder in the key. My friend had a similar problem on his Alfa Spyder which was...
Ordered parts for the 3200 to do an oil change (Shell Helix) + all filters and booked in for new front tyres (Goodyear Eagles) next week … getting her ready for some summer touring in Europe.
Returning to the original question: some ‘serious shite’ does lay ahead mainly because the political class in the EU & NATO thought they could ultimately park themselves on Putin’s border by having Ukraine join their club … They’ve let everyone down by clearly learning jack **** from the Cuban...
I have a tailored cover from Covercraft in the US for my 3200. It’s waterproof and breathable and does the job! You do have to be careful to clean the car before you put it on, and to make sure the cover is clean on the inside so it doesn’t have any debris or bits of grit off the ground trapped...

Looks like Alpine have extended the 0% APR deal beyond their March 31st deadline … At least it’s still available through Martins in Winchester.
Yep … it’s why I go for an Aqua Wax polish because it’s very easy to apply with the rinse, spread and dry with a damp cloth and then buff to a shine with another cloth when dry.
First bucket does the wheels as well but only after the paintwork is done to avoid any coarse brake dust / other contaminants from getting in the sponge and scratching the paintwork…
Gave the 3200 a much needed clean - as I’ve always cleaned my cars - with a sponge and 2 buckets of water. I use Auto Glym Aqua Wax sprayed into the rinse to get a good shine with very little effort.
