How was the alarm unit deemed faulty? Are you referring to the siren or something else? I'm having this issue and just ran away from my car in embarrassment at the supermarket! Did you ever get a replacement?

I'm looking for an outdoor car cover whilst my garage is being built. I have had storm force covers before and they degrade so quicky and fall apart. I've seen one from a company called Classic Additions which seems ok for £265. Does anyone have any other recommendations?
