Pete - sorry you weren’t there I had plenty of burgers and sausages in case - a chilly BBQ but a BBQ none the less was had and enjoyed- Merc parked in shame by the fence!
The hand is almost there, but I’m not sure I can fix and MOT the 164 in time, and I have a number of jobs I’ve been intending to do for a while so she is of the road at least until spring
Merc it will have to be unfortunately- if I stick the BBQ in could I get on our stand as the catering van?:p
Hey Pete, I’ll probably come but it will be in the Merc probably as the 164 will be out of action until at least the spring - general parking for me I guess
Gutted, I've been to all but two of these events and marshalled at most - it's a brilliant event and does draw a crowd. Hopefully it will raise up again!
The BBQ was an inspired idea considering the weather! I'll let you guys know next year if I bring it, you can sling a sausage or burger on it too!!
Josh got his ride in the 603hp Evo and was a happy boy in the end
Great day out and thanks for organising it again. Sorry your day didn't go...
I have the Q4 and the take off is linear in all weathers and handling is amazing. Chris Rees from AutoItalia Magazine was astonished at the handling when we blasted round the track at the Photo shoot.
I paid only £3.5k for mine
Great day was had at Auto Italia - we didn't leave until 5.30pm so a tad tired after the 5 am start!
Icing on the cake for me was being in the Magazine in the Alfa 4x4 feature and coming out as the top dog with the 164!
